Wenlock Downs

Ooty Toy Train
The Nilgiri Mountain Railway, also known as Toy Train, is a world heritage toy train in Ooty. Covering 46 km in length, the Toy train runs between Mettupalayam & Ooty daily with an average speed of just 10.4 km per hour and is regarded as the slowest train in India. The whole journey takes around 4 to 5 hours to reach Ooty from Mettupalayam. In July 2005, the Nilgiri Mountain Railway was declared a UNESCO world heritage site of the Indian Mountain Railways.

Ketti Valley Viewpoint
At a distance of 4 km from Ooty and 12.5 km from Coonoor, Ketti Valley View Point is a popular vantage point situated on Ooty - Coonoor Road in Nilgiris district of Tamilnadu. As the name suggests, the view point provides a panoramic view of the Ketti Valley, the largest valley in the Nilgiris, and its beautiful surroundings. Ketti Valley is home to several tribes, such as Todas and Badagas. There are over 14 villages in this valley that belong to the tribes of Badagas. Also known as Switzerland of Nilgiris, the Ketti Valley is a heaven for nature lovers and photographers.

Droog Fort
Droog Fort, situated 17 km from Coonoor, served as an outpost for Tippu Sultan. Positioned at 6000 feet above the plains, it provides a breathtaking view of the surroundings. To access the fort, trek 4 km from Nonsuch Estate, offering a bird's eye perspective that justified Tippu Sultan's choice. A moderate one-hour trek is required to reach this historical site.

Catherine Falls
Catherine Falls, 7 km from Kotagiri, is a beautiful double-cascaded waterfall, the second largest in Nilgiris. It drops 250 feet, surrounded by forests and tea plantations. Named after Catherine Cocburn, it's visible from Dolphin's Nose, and though reaching the bottom is not possible, the top provides a stunning view. Accessible with a 2-3 km trek from Aravenu on the Kotagiri/Mettupalayam Road, the journey is a scenic drive through pine forests and tea gardens.

Tea Park
At a distance of 8 km from Ooty Bus Station, Tea Park is a park situated near Doddabetta in Ooty. Tea trekking path inside the Tea garden with a display of tea history and its origin, entry to China, India, and to the Nilgiris by providing display materials engraved in granite stones at regular intervals with musical arrangements on the path. There is also a small ornamental garden to entertain the visiting tourists without disturbing the natural undulations and landscapes with play materials for children.

The prime highlight of the Thunder World is Jurassic Park. You can also visit the World of Spirits with the Vortex section that showcases 3D paintings with some illusions to completely blow off your mind.
